Screw Press for Paper Pulp Mill

To meet the practical needs for pulp thickening, dewatering, and conveying during the pulping process, Leizhan Company has introduced a screw press that combines screw conveying with compression dewatering. As the pulp enters the equipment, it is propelled forward by the screw flights while simultaneously subjected to progressively increasing mechanical compression; this forces water out through the screen wire, thereby reducing moisture content and increasing pulp consistency.

Key Technical Features

1. Rational axial distribution of the compression ratio. The screw shaft of the screw press features a variable-pitch design, with the compression ratio increasing rationally along the axis, subjecting the pulp to continuous, progressive squeezing as it is conveyed forward.
2. Uniform dewatering of inner and outer layers. The equipment is equipped with perforated internal dewatering components on the discharge side, enabling effective dewatering of both the inner and outer layers of the pulp simultaneously.
3. Consideration of details for ease of maintenance. The equipment features a special screw design at the discharge point, facilitating routine inspections and the replacement of wear parts.
