New Mid-Consistency Pressure Screen in Pulping Machine

The structural design of the new mid-consistency pressure screen developed by Leizhan Company features a top-feed inlet that utilizes gravity to achieve the preliminary separation of heavy impurities before the actual screening process begins. As heavy impurities do not impact the rotor or screen basket, the service life of critical wear parts is extended; simultaneously, the risk of screen basket slot clogging is reduced, effectively lowering maintenance frequency and spare parts costs.

The internal rotor of the new mid-consistency pressure screen features a multi-vane design characterized by gentle, high-frequency pulses. This results in reduced hydraulic impact on the screen basket, while the turbulent flow of the pulp through the screen slots facilitates the passage of accepts and prevents fibers from being excessively forced into the tailings. Further optimization of the screen basket dimensions has achieved a lower thickening factor, directly resulting in reduced fiber loss.
